Our Agent has over 25 years of telecom, IT, wireless and medical device experience in various positions at Deloitte Consulting, Nortel, and BlackBerry and was a valuable member of BlackBerry’s in-house patent counsel team, involved in all aspects of IP portfolio and patent management. Our Agent has a keen interest in competitive intelligence analysis, entrepreneurship and start-ups. Our Agent is currently working with some start-up companies in highly competitive and proprietary markets and consults on some high profile litigation and as such, has asked to remain anonymous to the general public.

With a keen editorial instinct (and even keener hearing when snack drawers open), Winky reviews all outgoing correspondence to eliminate clutter, correct inconsistencies, and ensure that our messaging reflects both technical accuracy and a commitment to environmentally responsible IP practices. If it doesn’t meet her high standards, it goes back for revision—no exceptions.

Fawkes – Director of Operations & Keeper of the Flame
Fawkes, the ever-gentle twin of our Editor-in-Chief Winky, serves as our calm and consistent Director of Operations. Larger in stature but softer in spirit, Fawkes is the quiet force behind our five-hour workdays and our commitment to a healthy, sustainable office rhythm.
He keeps the fires burning—not with urgency, but with warmth. From morning stretch routines to ensuring everyone takes a proper lunch, Fawkes maintains the pulse of the head office, promoting balance, focus, and the occasional well-timed cuddle break. His signature thunder- purr has a way of lowering stress and raising morale across the team.
Though he prefers observation to action, Fawkes ensures things run smoothly behind the scenes, quietly supporting our mission to deliver thoughtful, sustainable IP services without burnout or bureaucracy.
